Emma needs your help to find a home

Use the Share This button at the bottom of the post to share with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, and many other social networks. Thanks for helping Emma!

Emma is a 2-3 year old purebred German Shepherd who has a very sweet, loving disposition though initially will be skittish. As she builds confidence in her new home, her personality begins to shine. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play with the Lab that she currently lives with and previously loved the Chow that she played with all day long.

Emma is a typical GSD in that if she is outside, she is on patrol. She is an imposing figure at about 60lbs and has a bark that will scare the most dangerous of predators away but underneath it all, she's a real love. Don't tell the bad guys that though! She is an indoor dog and wants to be with her family as opposed to being outside. She is fully crate trained. She seems to have a liking for magazines so they've had to go out of 'Emma reach'. She is the perfect candidate for a person who works from home and wants a buddy. She'll stay out of your way but she'll enjoy your company.

Emma has visited the dog park and stays pretty close to foster Dad. But as she builds confidence this is a great place if her new family doesn't have a companion for her at home. She can still get in play time! Emma is an option for older kids who are ok that she'll be quiet and reserved at first. She just has to get to know her new surroundings and people, sights and sounds.

Emma's foster Dad made two different videos and this is the second link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6c49L21gGE
